LOCANDA DEL VIANDANTE

Located in an environment and landscape of incomparable beauty, the Locanda del Viandante dominates the heart of the Tuscan Valtiberina. It was once the old farm of Cerreto: a place of history, effort and memory. Today it has been restored as an accommodation facility to host a B&B and an Osteria where you can live a true experience in nature savoring the truest Tuscany.   Basalto, Gabbro, Serpentinite, Ofiolite and Ranocchiaia: three double bedrooms and two triples, each with its own private bathroom, are located on the first floor of the structure. The five rooms, spacious and bright, are accessible from the large common living room which preserves intact the characteristics of the past, of which the large stone fireplace still remains. Finely furnished in the style of poor art, they are embellished with fine artisan fabrics from Anghiari and all offer a splendid view of the hills of the Rognosi Mountains and the Valtiberina. In the morning, breakfast for guests is served with coffee, milk, tea, fruit juices accompanied by bread, yogurt, fruit, biscuits, excellent local jams and homemade desserts.
