Pratieghi, documented since 1276, is located in Tuscany at m. 871 a.s.l., in the heart of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, a stone's throw from Monte Fumaiolo and the sources of the Tiber river. In the direction of Balze you can easily reach the sources of the Marecchia river which are located at m. 929 above sea level Along the itinerary you will find a spring, the "Fonte di Dante", where the great poet Dante Alighieri quenched his thirst on the path that led him from Florence to Ravenna and where you can find the "Taxus Baccata", an evergreen and very rare plant in woodland formation, on which legends and mysterious stories circulate, always fascinating. Pratieghi is a small village and you can stay with us to enjoy the fresh air or to set off for well-marked trails for walking or mountain biking. It is a true oasis of relaxation to recharge, diving into the best possible outdoor tourism, immersed in the peace of our mountains. Trekking and Hiking will give you a deep and healthy contact with nature. The Bardeschi family, for more than 60 years, has offered hospitality in this small village and a cuisine of the true tradition with dishes that have left pleasant memories. The new management of the Monti family has brought its experience as a chef and sommelier to the service of guests, but always with great respect for traditional cuisine implemented with modern techniques. In the fireplace room you can taste our preparations, all homemade by Cristiana: from rich Tuscan appetizers, to pasta tirata al mattarello, from pici made in the press, to game, from local lamb, to porcini and prugnoli mushrooms, from truffles, up to our delicious desserts, all homemade. Without neglecting the selection of local cheeses and a wide choice of Tuscan, Italian, French, Spanish and German wines, also paired by glass.
