VILLA SABOLINI

The magic of the Chianti has always been an irresistible lure for many Italian and foreign tourists and in the middle of this magic area you will find the  Villa Sabolini. Staying at the Hotel Villa Sabolini, you will reside in a historic home of great value, not far from the center of Monteriggioni, where you can take many paths, food and wine, touching Siena and its Piazza del Campo, but also San Gimignano, Volterra, discovering a small but significant Tuscany. Villa Sabolini is made up of different buildings, all recovered from the ancient structure of the villa: Farm, Villa and Seminary. Three separate buildings all of which have been derived and adapted different types of rooms. All our rooms have been designed to facilitate access to our customers with disabilities, allowing them to take advantage of all the services in our facility. The common areas have been designed to facilitate the passage of wheelchairs, lifts and ramps allow a free movement throughout the hotel. The Villa Sabolini that bears the name of one of the most important familiesof the fifteenth century, was born as a residence of good retreat archpriest Amerigo Sabolini. During the Second World War was chosen as the site of the Work dell\'Museo of Siena and was the protection of many works of art, like thefamous Majesty by Duccio. Hotel Villa Sabolini is composed of 3 buildings: The Villa: the old mansion where Sabolini family used to reside. At the ground floor you can find the reception and beautiful salons frescoed in the ‘700. In these salons our guests can enjoy the pleasant melody of the two pianos, or “steal” a good book and relax on the comfortable armchairs, or breath fresh air in our enchanting “Italian” garden, that surround all the Villa. Through a grand staircase you can reach the noble rooms located in the two floors that compose the Villa. The Fattoria: the oldest part of the architectural complex, already existing during the construction of the main Villa. On the ground floor you find a pretty and bright salon framed by a spiral staircase that brings you to the downstair and upstairs floor where the rooms are situated. The Seminario: the “new” part of the hotel. It was built during the first post-war period in order to host young students and wayfarers travelling along the old Via Francigena that surrounds the Villa. Characterized by a bright corridor made of windows, in this building you find on the ground floor our Restaurant and our Bar. ECONOMY ROOMS Rooms with rural decoration; these rooms have all amenities such as mini bar, TV and internet connection. Smaller than the other rooms, are a good choice for a good value for money (very limited number of rooms). CLASSIC ROOMS Our Classic rooms are located in all buildings that make up the hotel. Romantic rooms with simple and elegant furnishings. Some rooms have views of the garden or the hotel’s inner courtyard. As all the rooms are equipped with minibar, internet connection, TV and all these amenities make these rooms agood choice for a romantic getaway or a relaxing vacation. SUPERIOR ROOMS Our Superior rooms are different from each other depending on the location, they have a vintage decor, elegant and refined or neoclassical or country-style, all this makes them ideal for a luxurious stay in the Tuscan countryside. As all the rooms are equipped with minibar, internet connection, TV and all the amenities that can turn your holiday full of memorable moments. FAMILY ROOMS Family Rooms are the most suitable for small groups or families with children: spacious and bright, with double or twin beds of various sizes, can accommodate up to 4 people. All the family rooms provide private bathroom with shower and flat screen tv.
