Hotel Antica Tabaccaia Resort **** originated in 1800 and many of the details of the structure reminiscent of the historic home of the time. Reception is always at your disposal to check in / out express, to organize excursions and tips about your visits to our beautiful Tuscany.   The Hotel consists of 40 rooms, including 2 suites , triple , double and twin rooms , double single use rooms and handicap accessible .   Wifi is available throughout the hotel free .   The rooms are equipped with every comfort : safe, plasma satellite television , hairdryer, toiletries, mini-bar , each room dedicated to a Tuscan artist .   The Restaurant Tobacconist is the highlight of the resort , where there is our café and breakfast room, the typical Tuscan cuisine and organize all kinds of events .   The swimming pool, according to regulation, is at your disposal for relaxation in Tuscany.   The parking lot is very large and perfect for the bus, then groups , couples and events.   Antica Tabaccaia Resort is in the perfect spot between Arezzo , Florence , Siena, Chianti, Engraved Mall and Prada Outlet and several hiking trails, hiking in the area by bike or on horseback riding lessons and organized in the kitchen .   From the great big rooms of the complex was originally a very specific type of tobacco , Kentucky.   Inside the ' Old Tobacconist Resort Hotel **** on the ground floor ( now suites and family rooms ) there were several ovens that were lit for the drying of the leaves and the floors still in typical Florentine terracotta , held their heat and gave off the floor getting the right drying .   The beams are still connected by hollow tiles and floors of the time since then in use today in typical Florentine terracotta , holding back the warmth and the floor gave off even after turning off the ovens.   The volumes for drying were composed of long, narrow rooms ( now brevettatte suites and rooms with windows and walls were then spinning without any air vents .   To date, in fact, each window is a unique automated revolving patented design that allows the tobacconist to recreate light points and then guests in the rooms of Hotel and now faithfully reproduce the wall that once formed the channel drying of the leaves.   Once dried , the leaves were selected and sent to the warehouse ( now the garden and pool area ) cut ( now a restaurant ) to produce the famed Tuscan cigar .   In the Grand Duchy of Tuscany cultivation was introduced in 1800, especially in the province of Arezzo.   From research carried out in the historical books , the ' Old Tobacconist is the oldest tobacconist in Tuscany.   Its construction dates back to the late '800.   It is said that in the years of fascism, the German soldiers who were in Italy , were intoxicated by the scent of the Tuscan cigar , insomuch that their Fuhrer , Hitler, Mussolini put pressure on to build a tobacconist and produce the Tuscan cigar exclusively for ' German army .
