Among the rolling Sienese hills that look down on the Chiana Valley, 'Fonte del Castagno' is the ideal sojourn in the heart of one of the most fascinating area of art, culture and landscape. Our three picturesque apartments are the result of the clever restoration of old stables of a historic, noble palace, placed beside the Fonte del Castagno, the old village fountain built in 1265.   The oiginal feautures of the apartments have remained unaltered so that inside the arches and ceilings with ancient brick vaults can be admired in their original splendour. The confortable furnishings are, in keeping with the architectural feautures of the apartments, using mainly antique furniture. In front of the buildind are large panoramic gardens arranged on various levels and shaded by the trees. Garden furniture and a barbecue are also available.
