GRAND HOTEL ROYAL

The Best Western Grand Hotel Royal with its unmistakable ‘towers’, located opposite the sea front in the very heart of Versilia, is one of Italy’s most striking examples of Art Nouveau style. It has a total of 114 rooms with all forniture and some one have wonderful sea view.
The hotel was opened at the beginning of the 1900s, immediately becoming a much sought-after destination of European nobility and capital city of Versilian culture. It is still today Viareggio’s symbol, having kept the typical atmosphere of yesteryear, combining it with modern and functional services.
Its central position is another of the structure’s strong points. The long beach-front promenade, full of numerous shops, is a frame for the front side of the Hotel, while the back borders with the large, green Pineta di Ponente (Pine wood) a centre for many sporting activities and recreation activities for children. 
  Just a few kilometres, and an easy car (or public transport) journey, away are Tuscany’s most representative cities of art: Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Vinci, Pietrasanta, Camaiore, Carrara (Quarries), and other famous towns such as Collodi with its Pinocchio Park, Pistoia with its zoological garden, Giacomo Puccini’s birthplace Torre del Lago and the exclusive Forte dei Marmi

The Grand Hotel Royal has a big garden with a Swimming pool and have an agreement with a Beach situated in front of the Hotel.
