Spicchiaiolona is an imposing ancient farm, built at about 1100, located in the heart of Tuscany in the middle of the countryside of Volterralevante on top of a typical Tuscan hill under a huge sky and surrounded by fields, olive groves, vineyards, cypresses and woods with a wonderful 360 ° panorama.

In recent years this huge structure has been restored by the owners with heart and in full respect of the Tuscan and Volterrean tradition. The farm is divided into three independent parts: the house, the apartments called Acasa for 10 people and Il Castelletto for 6 with separate entrances, terraces and gardens. The pool and its own terrace with pizza oven and barbeque are shared.

We offer youl some holidays in absolute tranquility, peace and balance with nature, where you find your rest. For retreats, weddings and celebrations there is additionally a huge multifunctional studio.

The houses offer all the comfort you are used or expect: big kitchen, central heating, chimneys and aircondition in exposed rooms.

You have the choice of resting, reading, meditating, swimming, hiking, jogging, bikeing, mountainbikeing, riding, climbing, fishing or golfing closeby.

Spicchiaiolona is located just 10 minutes drive from the wonderful city of Volterra which enjoys a huge artistic, architectural, historical and cultural heritage and that offers excellent restaurants and trattorias where you can sample the cuisine of Volterra. In our area, you find starred restaurants like Il Duca, Pignano and Arnolfo which have to compete with local genuine trattorias like Lo Sgherro.
