An enchanting 750-acre organic estate, Borgo Pignano features a historic hamlet dating back to the Etruscan times and a magnificent 18th century Villa. Here you will find fourteen elegant rooms and suites within the main Villa, some with original frescoes and furnished with exquisite antiques, original artworks, Italian linens, chandeliers and en-suite white marble and travertine bathrooms. In addition to the spacious accommodation set within the villa, Borgo Pignano also offers secluded private properties located throughout the estate including cottages, maisonettes and a large lakeside farmhouse that sleeps up to 20 guests.
One of our most historic properties is La Canonica, an ancient Priest’s House. Located across a gravel courtyard close to the main Villa, it provides beautifully restored luxurious accommodation in a private and tranquil setting.
The elegant restaurant Villa Pignano offers a refined and innovative seasonal menu. Here you can sample exceptional cuisine where the ingredients take center stage. Our 0km philosophy is further complimented with an exquisite selection of organic and biodynamic wines from Tuscany. During the summer, our traditional Trattoria Al Fresco offers an informal, relaxed dining experience set within a beautiful garden environment. Guests can savor authentic Tuscan dishes, such as grilled meats, stone-baked pizza cooked in a classic wood-fired oven, together with organic beers and wines.
At Borgo Pignano guests can partake in a collection of authentic Tuscan inspired activities such as cooking classes, farm tours, honey-making, truffle hunting, horse-riding, painting classes and wine tasting. Discover Pignano’s wellness center in the heart of our historic hamlet and experience another level of peace and tranquility. Enjoy our dry sauna and steam bath or book a treatment in our private wellness suite.
