OSTELLO DELLA GIOVENTU' VOLTERRA

The Youth Hostel of Volterra,Chiosco delle Monache which is a renovation of an ancient Franciscan Convent of the XV century, is found at the entrance of the city. Apart from the nature of its structure, which is ideal for relaxation and study, the Hostel is also situated in an optimum position from where one can easily connect to the major historical and artistic centers of Tuscany: one hour to Pisa, Florence, Siena and only 30 minutes to the seaside and San Gimignano. Without any architectural barriers, the Hostel is characterized in a particolar model, due to its wonderful internal Cloister, based on the designs of Michelozzo (sculptor and architect of Donatello workshop).
